As an alternative to selling the kit you could use it as a what if project OR convert to an earlier or later mark OR use it as experimential, weathering techniques etc OR give it to a kid to get them started in the hobby. OR spare parts Just a few suggestions.   Lees verder

Look at the business end. When you pull the trigger back does the needle slide back? Definitely sounds like a blockage of some kind. Another option is to get a fine piece of steel wire. About .5mm should do the trick and push it through the stipped down brush.   Lees verder
